Celebrate Moonfest in Quilcene | August 15-16
The Hood Canal area is well known for its unique events. MoonFest is no exception – an inspiring celebration of music and arts hosted each summer in the woods on Lake Leland near Quilcene.
Since 2011 has been a favorite for music fans and outdoor lovers. Hosted by local business leaders, Jim Munn and and Sheryl Wolover, MoonFest is more than music; it’s a lively celebration of art, community, and live shows.
Hosted at beautiful Twana Springs, this privately owned 44-acre site features avgently sloping field with Lake Leland in the background. The natural amphitheater of the valley has spectacular sound when it is matched with the with imposing artist-built stage.
MoonFest evolved out of a love for music and nature. Jim and Sheryl believe events like this bring people together in a celebration of community and art. MoonFest is like a family that includes volunteers, vendors, performers, and guests sharing a special experience.
This year's schedule showcases an impressive lineup of musician and talented artists from a variety of genres. Although the MoonFest grounds could comfortably host 1500 or more, MoonFest passes are limited to under 600 attendees to keep the event small and intimate.
